For U.S. Citizens and U.S. Resident Aliens Opening an Account:

With just a few clicks you'll open your account, and start your membership with MIT Federal Credit Union. If you are a U.S. citizen or U.S. resident alien at least 18 years of age, you may open your account online by following the steps provided. You'll need the following documents as reference:

• Driver's license or identification issued in the United States
• Previous home address, if you lived at your current address less than two years
• U.S. Social Security number (SSN)
• U.S. checking account number and routing number from another financial institution (to fund your new account)

For International Applicants Opening an Account:

If you are an international applicant, once in the online application form, you will be prompted to download an application to complete and either email, fax, drop off at a branch, or mail. If sending through the mail or another delivery service, please forward to MIT FCU, 70 Westview St., Lexington, MA 02421
