Effective May 1, 2025, when visiting a shared branch location with an out-of-state ID or Driver's license you will be asked to utlilize a new authentification method to confirm your identity.
 

How it Works:

  1. Scan the QR code located in the branch or visit verify.coop.org

  1. Select your credit union’s name from a drop-down list. 

  1. Enter your member number and the last four digits of your social security number. 

  1. Upload a photo of your ID. 

  1. Take a selfie. 

Tip: Save your validation for an even quicker experience next time! 

  1. Show your one-time passcode to the teller (passcode is valid for 20 minutes). 

Details of IDCheck

When

Effective May 1, 2025, this additional layer of authentication will be used for withdrawals over $200. If you are using an out-of-state license to make a withdrawal over $200, using IDCheck is a non-negotiable requirement to complete the transaction.  

Why

This new ID verification system is used to further protect your identity and the security of your accounts.

Who

Members of MIT FCU will not be affected when using a shared branch location located in the same state of issuance if your ID to make withdrawals exceeding $200.
