Remote Deposit Capture is getting a new name!

Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) is now called Mobile Check Deposit (MCD). It's the same great service you've come to know and use, just under a new name. Learn more here.

US Postal Service First-Class Mail Delivery Times Have Changed

Beginning in October, the USPS has officially changed first-class mail delivery times. Time for 1st Class mail has gone from 1 - 3 days, to up to 5 days from some areas. Please keep this in mind and consider using mobile or online banking to make your payments. You can also go paperless rather than waiting to receive statements or payment coupons/bills in the mail. Looking to deposit a check? Don't mail it, use Mobile Check Deposit instead and that check will be deposited into your MIT FCU account and you'll receive an email confirming the deposit when complete.

Our Student Center Branch is Now Open

Our Student Center branch is now open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am - 4 pm. We also have both Virtual Teller Machines (VTM) and ATM machines available.

New VTM (Video Teller Machine)

We are happy to announce that our newest VTM is up and running in the lobby of MIT FCU headquarters, located at 70 Westview St., in Lexington, MA. You can perform ATM and Teller assisted transactions, and speak to one of our representatives using the VTM.

Student Talk Blog Series

We're excited to announce a student-generated content series on our Blog, called Student Talk. In early 2021, we offered a writing internship as part of MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP) and collaboration with the Priscilla King Gray Public Service Center (PKG). The result is our Student Talk Blog series!

Our first writing intern was MIT engineering student Nathan Liang, who chose to write for an audience for whom financial education can be hard to come by: lower-income students and underserved, marginalized, and unbanked minority communities.

Mr. Liang crowdsourced content for ideas, viewpoints, and stories and also shared his personal experiences. He produced ten posts covering budgeting, building credit, home buying, navigating the US health care system, and more.
