MIT Federal Credit Union announces scholarships and award
opportunities for Spring 2018.

Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. 2018 College Scholarship Program

Open to: High school seniors (college freshman in 2018-2019)

Submission Deadline: March 1, 2018

MIT Federal Credit Union is a sponsoring credit union for the 2018 Cooperative Credit Union Association, Inc. College Scholarship Program. Recipients are selected based on grades, their response to an essay question, and extracurricular/community activities.

A total of six (6) $1,500 scholarships - one per Chapter of the Cooperative Credit Union Assocation, Inc. - will be awarded. Applications should be submitted to MIT FCU, which will forward its top three (3) selections onto the Metro-Boston Chapter President for further consideration.

MIT Federal Credit Union 2018 Memorial Scholarship Program

Open to: Those who will be freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Submission Deadline: March 16, 2018

Each year, MIT Federal Credit Union recognizes outstanding student members through our Memorial Scholarship Program. Recipients are selected based on grades, financial need, extracurricular and community activities, and their response to an essay question.

For the 2018-2019 academic year, MIT FCU will award six (6) $1,000 college scholarships.

MIT Federal Credit Union 2018 People Helping People Award

Open to: MIT community members

Submission Deadline: March 16, 2018

The 2018 "People Helping People" Award will be presented to one member of the MIT Community who exemplifies compassion, commitment to helping others, and a sense of social justice. The award recipient will receive $2,000 and will choose a charity to receive an additional $2,000 donation.

Anyone within the MIT community can elect to nominate someone for the award, providing they can substantiate their selection and the nominee is a member of MIT FCU.
