Contact Center Representative

CONTACT CENTER REPRESENTATIVE, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to be responsible for delivering outstanding member service, addressing all member issues and inquiries in a timely manner, and being informative and responsive to member’s requests while offering products and services that enhance their financial relationship. Responsibilities include answering all incoming calls/inquires in accordance with departmental standards; checking and responding to all incoming voicemail and email messages within established guidelines; opening new memberships, closing or adding products and services to existing accounts, or updating member account information as necessary; processing account transfers, payments, and stop payments; providing balance information and statement copies; providing general account maintenance; daily balancing and reconciliation of payments and deposits; and assisting with annual dormant account program.

Member Service Representative

MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to be responsible for delivering outstanding member service and performing all functions pertinent to this position in a timely and accurate manner.  Will fulfill a multitude of member service requests, including processing financial transactions (i.e., processing cash and check inquiries remotely); account maintenance; password resets; resolving customer concerns accurately, efficiently, and effectively in accordance with MITFCU policies and standard operating procedures.  Will also be expected to remain informative and responsive to member’s requests while cross-selling products and services that enhance a member’s financial relationship.

Member Service Specialist, Lexington Branch

MEMBER SERVICE SPECIALIST, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to be responsible for offering member information, assistance, and solutions addressing financial needs and challenges via email, telephone, or written correspondence. Responsibilities include handling daily account maintenance and other service issues including product ordering, scanning of document and member records, GL and check reconciliations, processing payments, travel alerts, address changes, ATM/Debit Card POS increases, and PIN resets; assisting members with new account services; originating and processing consumer, home equity, and VISA loans from start to end, including ancillary product review, submission of application, running credit report(s), processing income requirements, reviewing debt, and collecting all necessary documents; opening IRA accounts and accepting annual contributions; initiating wire transfers; and proactively cross-selling by identifying sales opportunities and following referral procedures.

Learning and Development Trainer

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT TRAINER, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to assess, plan, and deliver education and training with a primary focus of developing exceptional lending, operations, and branch employees. The primary responsibility will be to develop a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of the credit union’s products/services; the delivery of compliance modules; vendor selection and management of the learning management system; scheduling training, guest speakers, and training events; and the communication of all training reports to members of management.  Will also identify and evaluate training needs and resources; develop, revise, and facilitate new and existing organization-wide training programs for classroom, online, and self-paced training, including products and services, CU compliance, member service training, and new employee orientation facilitation; and create and standardize training to ensure instructional design principles are implemented.

Assistant Branch Manager

ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGER, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU)-Tech Square (Cambridge) Branch, to assist the branch manager with the overall operation and performance of the branch and assume responsibility when the manager is absent. Responsibilities include participating in and helping achieve service and business objectives; staff coaching, training, and ongoing education; helping initiate efficient systems and processes; helping maintain and enhance MIT relationships; providing outstanding service to members; ensuring the safety and confidentiality of member-related information; establishing new memberships and associated deposit products and services; processing and closing consumer and student loan applications; assisting with branch security at all levels; providing back-up to member relations representatives when necessary; helping ensure the accurate settlement of staff and the overall branch each business day; cross-selling products and services; ensuring wire transfer requests are processed and following up as necessary; receiving and verifying cash drawer deposits and assisting with staff and branch end-of-day settlement; performing ad hoc inventory and vault and cash drawer audits; maintaining branch supplies (e.g., cashier checks, AMEX, debit stock, etc.); ensuring security of branch product inventory (e.g., cash, checks, and Amex products); ensuring delivery of branch checks and cash deposits to third-party vendors; identifying procedural and operational inefficiencies and recommending and implementing solutions; and assisting with the creation of procedures and/or training materials.
