We have two locations on MIT's campus in Cambridge, MA: one at 700 Technology Square (Bldg NE48) and one at 84 Massachusetts Avenue (the Student Center, Bldg W20). You can also visit us at our MIT Lincoln Lab office at 244 Wood Street in Lexington, MA (Building A-100). For directions, the following links will take you to GoogleMaps. Are the funds that I have on deposit in the MIT Federal Credit Union insured?
The basic insured amount for a member is $250,000. Accounts maintained in different rights or capacities are each separately insured to $250,000. Thus, a member may have an interest in more than one type of insured account for an insured total in excess of $250,000. For further details and examples of insured funds, please consult the NCUA publication entitled Your Insured Funds.
Is my e-Branch PIN the same as my ATM PIN?
No. Your e-Branch PIN is generated and mailed to you when your account is opened or, if at a later date, upon your request. If you would like to request an e-Branch PIN, please e-mail us or call our main office at 617.253.2845.
