The Financial Planning Process

  • Goal Setting
The first step in any planning process is to identify and define your desired outcomes and your goals. Once we have a solid understanding of what it is you want to achieve, then we can help you get there.

  • Current Analysis
Before we can develop a strategy for achieving your goals, we first need to understand your current situation. Through a careful, thorough analysis of where you are now, we gain a clear picture of your current resources and needs.

  • Strategy Development
Once we know what you want to achieve and have an understanding of where you are now, we can begin to develop a plan to help you get from here to there.

  • Implementation & Monitoring
Finally, it’s time to set your plan in motion. With ongoing monitoring and formal, periodic assessment, we’re able to assess progress toward goals and make adjustments to both the strategy and the goals as needed to keep everything on track.

In practice, the process is not quite so linear. The back-and-forth between analysis and goal setting, between development and analysis, between implementation and strategy create the fluid, dynamic approach needed to most likely achieve success.
